Welcome to kart racing, an experience I truly believe has no rival.

Reno Kart Shop (RKS) is backed by years of hard charging grassroots West Coast karting; we are still at the track, and still competing, and the King family is now raising up our third generation into kart racing.

Throughout the years we have raced amongst the best of; no-namers, solo driver & mechanic, aspiring racers, and the racers who refuse to retire, the big name and sponsored racers we all recognize, and truth be known, they're all the same as you and I. We have enjoyed long days, late nights and early mornings consisting of race prep and tear-downs all with bloody knuckles and grease under the finger nails. We have experienced the support of our fellow enthusiast that changes an entire weekend, and the sharing of those struggles and accomplishments together in the pits, we know the heartache of defeat, as well as the sweet victory of standing on the podium. The delicious taste of track-side bbq's with friends new and old, and the fun in the pits when it is all said, done, and packed away... It is the relationships and the connections that go deeper than just race day that really makes this sport so unique, so, go get out there racer, get in the seat, put down those laps and remember to help your fellow racer, we were once new to this too.
